realme Buds Air Neo: Common Issues & Fixes
1. One ear bud doesn’t work
Step 1: Check whether there is any dirt or foreign material in the charging base of the buds and the charging column in the charging box, and keep it clean.
Step 2: In the charging box, repeatedly insert and remove the headset 2 times.
Step 3:Confirm whether the battery level of the charging box is sufficient (green light indicates sufficient battery level). Put buds in the charging box for at least 10 minutes.
Step 4: Press the key for more than 10 seconds to reset the buds

2.Touch is not functional / Sensitive Touch is not functional
Step 1: The touch function will take effect when it is touched the area(Normal wear headphones or take out, music as required to play or pause)
Step 2: Please check simple touch test and read the instructions (two taps -- pause/play, three taps -- play the next one)
Step 3: Confirm whether the battery level of the charging box is sufficient (green light indicates sufficient battery level). Put buds in the charging box for at least 10 minutes.
3.MIC has no function
Step 1:Check if the mic hole is blocked? What are the usage scenarios like? (e.g. cycling, fast-moving, etc.)?How far is the headset from the phone? (useful range 10m)?Is there any other object between the earphone and the mobile phone (such as the mobile phone in the backpack and trouser pocket)?
Step 2: Clean the mic 1 hole, make sure there is no foreign body or dirt blocking the hole.
Step 3: Keep the realme buds air neo and your device, change the environment, and try again.
Step 4: Confirm whether the battery level of the charging box is sufficient (green light indicates sufficient battery level). Put buds in the charging box for at least 10 minutes.
4.Abnormal Connection
4.1. Intermittent and delayed sound

Step 2: Delayed while playing video and sound issue
Check video or sound is on internal or local, not sure if the issue is caused by network or not. please also check the realme link app.
Step 3: In the game state of AAC encoding format, the low delay effect is slightly worse than that of SBC mode.
Path: Bluetooth Settings - paired devices - turn off high-quality audio
4.2 No search, no connection, disconnected cover or grab a connection
Step 1: Try again in another area, Try to keep the area clear and the distance between the realme buds air neo and your device less than 10m.
Step 2: Reconnect phone to confirm whether to fix the problem
5. Abnormal Voice(small volume & Headphones sound different)
Step 1: It is recommended that users check the absolute volume switch in the mobile phone Settings to see if it is on. They can try to open this setting item to solve the problem.
1. Settings - about mobile phone - version information - click the version number for 7 times to activate the developer mode
2. Settings - additional settings - developer option - absolute volume (only realme phones, please consult the phone manufacturer for other phones)
Step 2: Clean the earphone speaker hole, echo hole and tuning hole to ensure there is no foreign matter and dirt in the hole and keep it clean
5.Insufficient Bass
The sound quality and style of realme Buds Air Neo takes into account the balance of high and low frequencies and utilizes Dynamic Bass Boost technology to make Bass more powerful. Meanwhile, realme Buds Air Neo supports high-quality audio (AAC), which can be further improved when opened in the Bluetooth list of the phone. If you want to try more music styles, you can adjust EQ in the mobile phone and music App.
6.Slow Charging
Step 1: Confirm whether the headset is charging slowly or the charging box is charging slowly (charging time more than 3 hours is thought as charging slowly).
Step 2: Whether the earphone charging area is depressed or contaminated.
Step 3: Check whether there is any dirt or foreign matter in the charging column in the charging box, and keep it clean;
7. Inaccurate power display & Inconsistent power displays of two headphones
Step 1: What color is the indicator light of the charging box?
red light flashing means less than 20%, green light flashing means more than 20%, and green light is always on means full (The headphone case indicator only indicates the headphone case battery).
Step 2: For buds afterlong charging it needs to reconnect to the phone to confirm whether the battery display is full.
Step 3:The difference between the left and right earphone power display of the realme link APP is within 5% and is the accuracy error of power calculation, which is normal.
8.Fast Power Consumption
Step 1: Check earbuds battery indication in the notification panel of your realme smartphone.
Step 2: Check using scenarios: volume (percentage description), usage scenarios (music, video, call, game);
Step 3:Check charging frequency and actual use time of the headset after charging; The difference of 15 minutes between the two earphones is normal.
